The Paluxy River runs across Linda Hamilton's place. She invited a group of us to come paint with her. It was a warm, sunny, windless November day which is just about perfect for out door painting in Texas.
November still has some lovely Fall weather and Fall color for painting outdoors. This is a sandy cliff at the low water crossing on the Paluxy River. Its a wonderful area to paint with a variety of scenes to paint.
As a plein air artist, I love painting the landscape of both Texas and Alaska. I work mostly in oils, but also enjoy working in pastels, and sculpture. My contemporary abstract paintings are inspired by my plein air paintings as well as my reference photos.
